Rewards Terms and Conditions
Pacific Tupe Plus RewardsTM is a loyalty program offered by Pacific Tupe Payment Systems, Inc. and its affiliates (“Pacific Tupe”, “we” or “us”) to users of Pacific Tupe ® products and services (“Plus Rewards”). Plus Rewards offers members certain benefits and rewards as MoneyGram may determine from time to time. These terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) govern membership and participation in Plus Rewards.
1. Membership.
• Eligibility. Application for membership in Plus Rewards is open to individual persons at least eighteen (18) years of age (or the applicable age of majority and contractual capacity in your place of residence). You must provide and maintain either an accurate email address or a phone number. Pacific Tupe may, in its sole discretion, accept or decline your application for membership in Plus Rewards. Participation in Plus Rewards is void where prohibited by applicable law, rule or regulation.
• Enrollment. You may enroll in Plus Rewards on Pacific Tupe Online or through other channels that Pacific Tupe may make available from time to time. If your application for membership in Plus Rewards is accepted, you will be enrolled as a Plus Rewards member (a “Member”). Current Pacific Tupe Plus members will be converted into Plus Rewards members after a Qualifying Transaction.
• Membership Obligations. By becoming a member, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. You agree that you will provide accurate information to us at all times and to promptly notify us of any change in your information.
2. Benefits and Rewards.
• Welcome Gift Discount:
As a Member you will receive 50% off the fees applicable to your first Transaction after your Plus Rewards enrollment date (a “Welcome Gift”). The Welcome Gift will be available after your first Qualifying Transaction and will expire 30 days from issuance.
• Fifth Transaction Credit:
As a Member after every fifth Qualifying Transaction you will receive 50% off the fees applicable to your next Qualifying Transaction (the “Fifth Transaction Credit”). The Fifth Transaction Credit will be available after every fifth Qualifying Transaction and will expire 30 days from issuance.
• Online Reward Management:
As a Member you will be able to review your transactional history and reward summary online.
Pacific Tupe Payment Systems, Inc. Invite Friends Customer Referral Program Important Information
A customer referral program (“Invite Friends”) is being offered by Pacific Tupe Payment Systems, Inc. and its affiliates (“Pacific Tupe”) to existing online users (a “Referrer”) of Pacific Tupe ® online products and services. Invite Friends is a voluntary program that offers discounts to both Referrers and their eligible family and friends who become MoneyGram online customers (a “Referee”).
3. Eligibility.
a. Referrer.
Must be an existing Pacific Tupe online (“PCT”) customer in participating PCT countries. It is not necessary to have completed online transactions or be registered as a Pacific Tupe Plus Rewards™ loyalty member.
b. Referee.
Must not be an existing PCT customer but participates in Invite Friends by registering for an PTO profile and completes a money transfer online. A Referee cannot already be on a referral list by another Referrer. A Referee can be an existing retail customer.
c. Participation.
If your Referee already has an PCT profile and has completed a money transfer online or has been referred by another person, they are not eligible to participate. Invite Friends participation is void where prohibited by applicable law, rule or regulation. You agree that you will always provide and keep up-to-date accurate PTO profile information.
4. Referral Process.
An eligible Referrer will use their own means to communicate a personalized Invite Friends link to their Referees (i.e. via email, text, FaceBook Messenger, Whatsapp, etc.), via PCT or the Pacific Tupe® App Invite Friends page, up to five (5) potential Referees at a time. The potential Referee will receive a notification from the Referrer with the link to register a profile on PCT within thirty (30) days of receipt of the invitation to participate in the Invite Friends program. Once registered, the Referee will receive a 50% transfer fee discount that will automatically be applied to their first online money transfer transaction. After Referee completes an online money transfer transaction (which has been received by the recipient), Referrer will receive an email indicating that a 50% discount off the transfer fee has been automatically applied and will be available to use for their next online money transfer. A Referrer may only have twenty (20) sent Referee notifications pending at any given time.
5. Discount and Usage.
a. General.
The automatic Invite Friends discount once provided to the Referrer and Referee does not expire. If a promo code is available and chosen for use at the time of the online money transfer transaction, the Invite Friends discount will be available to use on the next transaction. But if the online money transfer transaction has a 50% fee, the Invite Friends discount will be forfeited.
b. Referrer Usage.
A Referrer may have multiple Referrer discounts available but only one (1) discount can be used per online money transfer transaction.
c. Referee Usage.
A Referee, once registered with a Pacific Tupe online profile, can become a Referrer and earn Referrer discounts. The Referee discount will be automatically applied to the first online money transfer transaction prior to any Referrer discounts. Should the discount not appear on the Summary Screen, the Referee can manually enter the discount code provided.
d. Limitations:
The Invite a Friend discount is not applicable for use on Express Payment, Utility Bill Payment services, Prepaid Card transactions nor Money Orders
6. Subject to Change or Cancellation:
The Invite Friends program and any associated discounts are subject to change at any time and from time to time in the sole discretion of Pacific Tupe. We may suspend your PTO profile, and/or cancel your discounts, for any reason, including but not limited to fraudulent representations by you, or if prohibited by applicable law, rule or regulation. Discounts have no cash value and will not earn interest and are not insured against loss. Discounts cannot be purchased, sold, combined or transferred in any way
